How to Use Accu-Chek Softclix Lancets:

1. Prepare the Device: Remove the cap from your Softclix Lancing Device.
2. Insert a Lancet: Place a new lancet into the device. It should snap into place when correctly positioned. Twist and pull to remove the lancet’s protective cap.
3. Adjust Depth: Reattach the cap to the device and twist to set the lancing depth. Start with setting 2 or 3. For thicker skin, adjust to a higher setting.
4. Prepare to Lance: Press the plunger on the device until it clicks. A yellow dot will appear in the center of the clear release button.
5. Wash Hands: Clean your hands with warm, soapy water and dry them thoroughly.
6. Lance Your Finger: Hold the device against the side of your fingertip and press the release button.
7. Obtain Blood Sample: Gently squeeze your fingertip to get a small drop of blood.
8. Apply Blood to Test Strip: Place the blood drop onto the target area of your test strip.
9. Dispose of the Lancet: Immediately remove and discard the used lancet.
